OSOC has been led by students who have planned and organised a range of celebrations to promote multicultural awareness and further enhance the excellent climate for learning in school. The celebration in December 2013 was particularly successful and attracted over 500 students who took part in boxing, football, a fashion show and arts and crafts.

Students are now involved in World Cup activities such as inter-form games, developing and awareness of countries around the world, Latin American music and dancing and taking part in language workshops. OSOC student leaders have taken responsibility for many of these activities and have been part of projects in the community and helping at the Brinsworth pop up café.
